Job Requirements

  • One or two years of post-high school education
  • experience in banquet or catering food production
  • knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
  • ability to supervise and train staff
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Job Qualifications

  • One or two years of post-high school education
  • knowledge of catering and food profession
  • management and supervision skills
  • oral and written communication skills
  • ability to analyze and follow policies and procedures
  • ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders
  • moderate hearing and speech communication skills
  • excellent vision

Job Duties

  • Coordinate production, plan and supervise banquet food plating and presentation
  • control food and labor costs
  • ensure preparation and safety standards
  • supervise banquet kitchen employees
  • interview, schedule and train staff
  • analyze Banquet Event Orders and coordinate with catering staff
  • monitor maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and equipment
  • resolve problems and conduct performance reviews
