Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years culinary experience
  • Experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  • Ability to train and lead culinary staff
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to workplace culture and team collaboration

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of progressive culinary experience
  • At least one year in a Lead Cook or Sous Chef position
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Excellent communication and team management skills

Job Duties

  • Manage hourly back of house staff
  • Assist in day to day kitchen operations including production, prep, stewarding, purchasing and receiving
  • Train line cooks to create menu items following established recipes
  • Ensure consistency in presentation and flavor of menu items
  • Lead the kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
  • Handle obstacles and solve potential kitchen issues proactively
  • Maintain motivation and cohesion within kitchen team
