Job Requirements

  • valid Food Handlers card
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate preferred
  • ability to work consistent hours without late closing shifts
  • experience in upscale dining or senior living culinary operations
  • attention to detail and commitment to food quality
  • strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 2-4 years of experience as Sous Chef or equivalent
  • proven leadership skills in culinary settings
  • knowledge of fine dining and casual restaurant operations
  • strong food preparation and presentation expertise
  • ability to motivate and develop team members
  • excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • lead and supervise culinary team in multiple dining venues
  • develop and implement menus using fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage kitchen inventory and ordering to minimize waste
  • mentor and train culinary staff to enhance skills and performance
  • coordinate catering events and special food services
  • maintain consistent work schedules and operational standards
