  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and shift management
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience in bartending is a plus but not required
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
  • Experience in farm to table cuisines

Job Duties

  • Assist the executive chef/chef de cuisine in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent quality and efficiency
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours
  • Assist in the development of seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences
  • Handle any issues that arise within the kitchen promptly and effectively
