Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in high-volume or quantity food production
- ServSafe and/or Food Manager Certification required or ability to obtain
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines precisely
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays
- Willingness to travel up to 10 percent including overnight stays
- Must maintain regular attendance for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in high-volume food production
- ServSafe or Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain
- Strong knowledge of batch cooking and food safety requirements
- Proven leadership and team coaching skills
- Basic math and computer skills including data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Culinary in daily kitchen operations
- Execute production schedules and control preparation quantities
- Record production, yields and waste on production sheets
- Ensure food is prepared according to standardized recipes and portion controls
- Maintain compliance with HACCP guidelines and food safety regulations
- Lead and supervise culinary team members during assigned shifts
- Support training and development of kitchen staff
- Communicate operational challenges and escalate safety issues
- Promote teamwork and a safe, sanitary work environment
