Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of high volume line cooking experience and/or 1 year management experience
  • High School diploma
  • Serve Safe Food handler certificate
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace work environment
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including night, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending and lifting
  • Ability to lift up to 35 to 50lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in a crowded, noisy, hot and humid environment
  • Must possess or be able to acquire knowledge of company policies, state regulations and technical rules relevant to the role within one year
  • Must possess ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of high volume line cooking experience and/or 1 year management experience
  • High School diploma
  • Culinary degree would be a plus
  • Serve Safe Food handler certificate
  • Possess leadership skills and an ability to teach cooks
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Ability to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license within one year

Job Duties

  • Oversees staff on the assigned shift
  • Oversees and carries out staff training
  • Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards
  • Conduct daily inspections of main line and coolers
  • Rotate and utilize all food products
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Delegate kitchen duties to team members
  • Implement policies and procedures
