Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years cook experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks
- Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least six months with no active disciplinary action
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to obtain required work cards and non-gaming registration as required by local jurisdiction
- Ability to maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must comply with all legal and company regulations for the industry
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications

- Culinary degree preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to work various shift schedules including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain required work cards and non-gaming registration as per local jurisdiction
- Experience in mentoring and training culinary team members
- Strong communication skills and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of health department sanitation standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Support the Room Chef in food quality management and cost control
- Complete inventories and train back of house team members
- Participate in financial review and reporting
- Document and ensure consistency of recipes
- Train culinary team on recipes and monitor adherence
- Ensure compliance with kitchen operating procedures
- Provide leadership through training, mentoring, and counseling
- Assist in hiring and onboarding hourly staff
- Schedule staff and assist with payroll activities
- Communicate effectively with front of house management
- Lead food preparation and oversee service flow
- Manage daily prep sheets and support menu creations
- Monitor inventory and product quality
- Properly label and date all products
- Safely use kitchen equipment and cleaning products
- Deliver exceptional service to internal guests with professionalism
- Foster positive working relationships with managers, staff, and vendors
- Maintain safety and compliance with company policies
- Attend scheduled shifts and staff meetings
- Maintain personal professionalism and appearance
- Assist with new team member training and mentoring
- Report irregularities and maintain integrity in work
