Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant settings
  • current servsafe certification
  • ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to comply with health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume venues
  • experience preparing catered events
  • current servsafe certification
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food & beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow as it relates to food operations
  • work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in the absence of the kitchen manager/chef
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently
  • partner with the kitchen manager or general manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • assist chef with managing kitchen equipment maintenance and Department of Health regulations
  • proactively maintain a clean, safe environment
  • report critical issues to general manager asap
