Job Requirements
- minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant settings
- current servsafe certification
- ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
- strong communication and organizational skills
- flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume venues
- experience preparing catered events
- current servsafe certification
- relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food & beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow as it relates to food operations
- work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in the absence of the kitchen manager/chef
- estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
- schedule staff efficiently
- partner with the kitchen manager or general manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- assist chef with managing kitchen equipment maintenance and Department of Health regulations
- proactively maintain a clean, safe environment
- report critical issues to general manager asap
