Job Requirements
- Must be self motivated with the ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
- Must possess strong leadership and managerial skills
- Must have excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
- Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on feet most of the shift
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years food and beverage management experience
- Manager ServeSafe certification required
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Ensure the menu and guest service expectations are being met or exceeded
- Oversee banquet functions to assure quality expectations and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to defined company recipes and safe food handling procedures
- Complete all required food and safety logs timely and efficiently per company and regulatory standards
- Obtain ServSafe or state food handler certification
- Work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Oversee food preparation and staff duties
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
- Place daily, weekly, and monthly food and beverage orders according to inventory and needs
- Receive kitchen deliveries and check shipments for accuracy
- Complete monthly inventory
- Train new kitchen staff
- Incorporate feedback from staff and patrons to improve operations
- Enforce best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
