Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a similar sous chef or culinary leadership role
- Knowledge of food safety practices and health regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership abilities in culinary settings
- Experience training and mentoring kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, upscale environment
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, standards, and presentation
- Train and mentor cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers to improve skills and performance
- Conduct daily lineups and assist with onboarding and retention of top culinary talent
- Ensure smooth service execution during all meal periods
- Oversee mise en place, prep schedules, and line setup for accuracy and readiness
- Enforce health and safety protocols, food handling standards, and cleanliness requirements
