Job Duties
- Train all kitchen associates to perform job duties effectively including plate presentation and display work
- Write schedules, evaluate, and direct all kitchen personnel
- Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
- Write and present disciplinary actions as needed
- Provide necessary tools and equipment for associates
- Take immediate action to resolve kitchen problems
- Participate in meetings, inventory, and management programs
- Ensure all food served is high quality, prepared according to recipes, and served efficiently
- Assist in establishing operational goals, standards, and objectives
- Supervise kitchen staff and utility associates in absence of Executive Chef
- Maintain usage records, roast meat charts, and recipe cards
- Prepare recipe cards and picture presentations of menu items
- Submit payroll hours timely to Accounting Department
