Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage or related area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in culinary arts or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
- Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Ability to work full time
- Must be non-remote

Job Duties
- Assist in developing new culinary applications, ideas, and products
- Create decorative food displays and determine food presentation
- Support supervision of kitchen shift operations and ensure policy compliance
- Inform purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Perform duties of kitchen managers and associates as necessary
- Estimate daily production needs and communicate with kitchen staff
- Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations
- Recognize superior quality products and presentations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Follow proper food handling and temperature guidelines
- Operate and maintain department equipment
- Prepare and cook foods regularly and for special functions
- Check quality of raw and cooked food products
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills for leadership
- Encourage mutual trust and cooperation among team members
- Ensure associates understand kitchen goals and expectations
- Establish open, collaborative relationships within the team
