Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory culinary role
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication and team management skills
  • Passion for quality and attention to detail

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership, training, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, upscale environment
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, standards, and presentation
  • Train and mentor cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers to improve skills and performance
  • Conduct daily lineups and assist with onboarding and retention of top culinary talent
  • Ensure smooth service execution during all meal periods
  • Oversee mise en place, prep schedules, and line setup for accuracy and readiness
  • Enforce health and safety protocols, food handling standards, and cleanliness requirements
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and respectful kitchen culture
  • Maintain composure and leadership during high-volume service periods
