Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a supervisory kitchen role
- strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety standards
- ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- proven leadership training and organizational abilities
- ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced upscale environment
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- support the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations
- lead and supervise kitchen staff ensuring adherence to recipes standards and presentation
- train and mentor cooks prep staff and dishwashers to improve skills and performance
- conduct daily lineups and assist with onboarding and retention of top culinary talent
- ensure smooth service execution during all meal periods
- oversee mise en place prep schedules and line setup for accuracy and readiness
- enforce health and safety protocols food handling standards and cleanliness requirements
- foster a positive disciplined and respectful kitchen culture
- maintain composure and leadership during high-volume service periods
