Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  • strong culinary skills and knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • proven leadership training and organizational abilities
  • ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced upscale environment
  • ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • support the Executive Chef in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • lead and supervise kitchen staff ensuring adherence to recipes standards and presentation
  • train and mentor cooks prep staff and dishwashers to improve skills and performance
  • conduct daily lineups and assist with onboarding and retention of top culinary talent
  • ensure smooth service execution during all meal periods
  • oversee mise en place prep schedules and line setup for accuracy and readiness
  • enforce health and safety protocols food handling standards and cleanliness requirements
  • foster a positive disciplined and respectful kitchen culture
  • maintain composure and leadership during high-volume service periods
