Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- culinary degree or equivalent
- strong understanding of food safety and sanitation
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to handle high-pressure situations
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- strong knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen safety standards

Job Duties
- assist the executive chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff including cooks and prep cooks
- ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
- maintain cleanliness sanitation and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- manage inventory order supplies and control food costs
- develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
- train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and ensure consistency
