Job Requirements

  • Must have at least three years of cooking and cold prep experience
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Must be able to follow approved recipes and maintain production standards
  • Ability to supervise and manage hourly food service associates
  • Must comply with all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and resolve complaints
  • Must be able to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Ability to monitor inventory and product usage
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of cooking and cold prep experience
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to coordinate and train kitchen staff
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and control waste
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree or certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions
  • Stores food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils
  • Cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries
  • Tracks product production, consumption, and waste
  • Informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
