Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years full service, high volume restaurant experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary degree a plus
  • servsafe certification
  • professional verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend for up to 10 hours
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • knowledge of microsoft word, excel, back office pos systems, and general accounting

Job Duties

  • supervise kitchen operations and fill in for the executive chef as needed
  • delegate tasks efficiently to heart of the house staff
  • plan and direct food preparation activities
  • conduct daily station and line checks to ensure food quality and consistency
  • enforce food safety guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations
  • oversee kitchen cleanliness and safety protocols
  • provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluations
