Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of advanced level food preparation experience in hotel, university, resort, or comparable hospitality industry
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Willingness to adhere to emergency essential employee duties
  • Commitment to health and safety protocols
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of advanced food preparation experience in hotel, university, resort, or comparable hospitality setting
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Successful completion of criminal background check
  • Strong culinary skills and leadership ability
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends

  • Experience training and supervising kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Support production chef as active participant in food production in main kitchen
  • Delegate and supervise prep duties to culinary and student staff in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Oversee and train cooks and food service workers on recipe adherence
  • Plate and present food in an appropriate and appealing manner
  • Ensure compliance with ServSafe food handling and food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations
  • Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
