Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous kitchen experience preferably in a professional setting
ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
strong organizational skills
physical stamina to stand for long periods
good communication skills
willingness to work in a team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
strong leadership and communication skills
ability to perform various kitchen tasks
problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
experience in training and scheduling staff

Job Duties

Plan and direct food preparation
manage kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation
act as kitchen expediter managing order tickets and food flow
ensure quality control of dishes leaving the kitchen
verify portion sizes and food presentation
motivate and manage kitchen employees
train new kitchen staff and create staff schedules
