Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience required
  • Open availability required
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to food safety and kitchen sanitation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary arts degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years cooking experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification
  • First aid training

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food is ready on time using efficient production and batch cooking techniques
  • Lead, train, and support kitchen staff to maintain quality and productivity
  • Review function sheets and ensure timely preparation for events
  • Manage prep sheets, duty rosters, and production records
  • Follow safe food handling practices and maintain clean, sanitized kitchen areas
  • Ensure kitchen equipment functions properly and report issues promptly
  • Adhere to health codes, sanitation guidelines, and OSHA regulations
  • Open and close the kitchen, complete checklists, and secure the area
  • Report food production and kitchen issues to the Production Manager
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment, and follow safety protocols
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
