Job Qualifications
- Three years of advanced level food preparation experience in a hotel, university, resort, or comparable hospitality industry setting
- successful completion of a criminal background check
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Support the Production Chef in food production as an active participant
- delegate and supervise preparation duties to culinary and student staff
- oversee and train cooks and food service workers on recipe adherence, plating, and food presentation
- ensure compliance with ServSafe food handling and food safety guidelines
- work in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment
- maintain quality control and consistency in meal preparation and presentation
- adapt work schedule to include daytime hours with occasional weekends as required
