Job Qualifications

  • Three years of advanced level food preparation experience in a hotel, university, resort, or comparable hospitality industry setting
  • successful completion of a criminal background check
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Support the Production Chef in food production as an active participant
  • delegate and supervise preparation duties to culinary and student staff
  • oversee and train cooks and food service workers on recipe adherence, plating, and food presentation
  • ensure compliance with ServSafe food handling and food safety guidelines
  • work in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment
  • maintain quality control and consistency in meal preparation and presentation
  • adapt work schedule to include daytime hours with occasional weekends as required
