Job Requirements

  • culinary degree or at least 4+ years of kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or club
  • previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • food management certification preferred but not required
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations and execution of service
  • supervise and support line cooks and other kitchen staff
  • contribute to menu creation
  • maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • assist with à la carte service and banquet production
  • uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health department regulations
  • train and mentor kitchen staff while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
