Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand and walk for the majority of their scheduled shift
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and changing environment without losing focus or energy
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with frequent carrying of smaller items
  • Must be able to bend, reach, crouch and kneel frequently

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of related food and beverage experience in an upscale atmosphere
  • Preferred 3+ years of related food and beverage experience in an upscale atmosphere
  • Knowledge of wine and spirit service standards
  • Ability to provide personalized wine and beverage recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations
  • Familiarity with inventory control and management
  • Understanding of health, safety, and labor regulations

Job Duties

  • Understand and execute to the standard of Mamani’s service manual
  • Collaborate to ensure continuous refinement of the guest experience and service
  • Assist guests in wine and beverage selection with personalized recommendations
  • Support fellow team members and treat all guests attentively
  • Learn and understand Mamani’s menu, wine list, and recent changes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment with organized workstations
  • Introduce and inform guests about the wine menu format and selections
  • Maintain wine cellar inventory and optimize stock management
  • Work with Wine Director to create and maintain wine and spirit lists
  • Organize and assist with monthly inventory of glassware and wine/spirits
  • Comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
