Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs
  • available to work a flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, evenings and/or holidays
  • must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions
  • TABC certification

Job Duties

  • Provide an immersive dining experience to our guests by highlighting our seed to table operation and being knowledgeable about menu offerings
  • communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen and bar using the hotel's point-of-sales system
  • coordinate food and beverage timings
  • check completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order and transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • read each table and adapt to the guest, creating a customized experience for a variety of local guests, international travelers, and building residents alike
  • properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
  • breakdown, clean and set-up of tables and chairs
  • assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of food and beverage when needed
