Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary or kitchen leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy service periods
  • Must obtain valid Food Handlers or Manager Food Safety Certificate

Job Duties

  • Assist culinary leadership with daily kitchen operations and food preparations
  • Support and guide culinary team members including cooks and dishwashers
  • Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
  • Monitor food safety preparation, cooking, and plating during service
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspaces
  • Help coordinate food production to ensure timely service during events
  • Assist with inventory management, production rotation (FIFO), and stock organization
  • Monitor product levels and communicate ordering needs to culinary leadership
  • Support training of culinary team members on kitchen procedures and safety standards
