Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- valid driver license with clean motor vehicle record
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of job-specific work experience
- able to read, write, and communicate effectively
- able to use arithmetic with accuracy
- reliable and mature with minimal supervision
- strong understanding of Snowbird operations
- ability to maintain good working relationships with guests and employees
- physically able to lift 75 lbs
- able to stand for long periods
- capable of bending, kneeling, handling, reaching, grasping, and performing repetitive motions
- able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
- able to make quick decisions under pressure
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence
- valid driver license with clean motor vehicle record

- flexible and adaptable to varying work schedules and guest needs
Job Duties
- Escort incoming hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage
- ensure that luggage is safe and not left unattended
- ensure that luggage is placed in the trolley properly and handled with care
- deliver luggage to guests’ rooms within 15 minutes of guests’ arrival and place on luggage rack
- explain room features such as radio, television, housekeeping service, refreshment center, room safe and heat control
- arrive at the guest room to collect luggage within 8 minutes of the guest’s call when departing
- be visible and available in the lobby to assist guests
- use guest names and maintain eye contact
- assist in keeping the work area neat and clean
- provide valet service by parking and retrieving vehicles and directing traffic
- answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- maintain accurate bell desk log sheets
- demonstrate personal guest service excellence and professionalism
- shovel snow and salt walkways and parking areas
- travel occasionally to Salt Lake Valley
