Job Requirements
- Must be an active-duty service member
- Eligible for DoD SkillBridge program
- Available for minimum 90 days participation
- Obtain unit commander approval
- Agreement that participation can be terminated based on mission requirements
- Ability to work remotely within continental US
- Possess high school diploma or GED
- Hold valid state EMT license
- Hold valid state driver’s license
- Current BLS and NREMT certifications
- Maintain compliant driving record
- Pass physical agility test
- Prefer some healthcare work experience
Job Qualifications
- Current active-duty service member
- State EMT license
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification
- Valid state driver’s license
- Ability to pass physical agility test
- Some healthcare-related work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provide assessment of patients to determine necessary care
- Deliver emergency medical services using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Document patient information, condition, and treatments maintaining confidentiality
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients
- Operate ambulance complying with company safety policies and traffic laws
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs
- Participate in community programs to promote company image and establish community relations
