Job Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project safety
- Knowledge and experience working as safety personnel for NYC Transit projects
- Reliable transportation required for travel to various sites as required
- Safety training and certifications required
- CHST or CSP is required
- OSHA 30 required
- Extensive knowledge of relevant safety requirements including OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC DEP, DOT, local, state and federal safety regulations
- Strong written and oral skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Oversight of contractor safety operations on NYCT station rehabilitation projects
- Candidate must be comfortable and motivated to work the day shift, night shift and weekend shifts when necessary
- Typical hours of operation: 7am - 3:30pm
- Conduct safety inspections at various project sites, develop and submit a report at the end of each inspection
- Assist in developing and reviewing Health and Safety procedures and programs
- Conduct safety related training
- Provide compliance assistance to projects
- Ensure all safety requirements of the Building Code and OSHA are being met
