Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- no prior experience required
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations section 391
- must be at least 21 years old
- valid driver’s license for the past three years
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance
- ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
- licensed for type of equipment assigned
- ability to read and speak English
- must pass medical exam according to FHWA or FAA regulations
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
- ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance
- ability to work with power and hand tools
- meet federal motor carrier safety regulations section 391
- effectively communicate verbally
- must be at least 21 years old
- valid driver's license held for at least three years
- ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
Job Duties
- perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle
- load and unload aircraft and vehicles
- sort packages
- perform other duties as assigned
- communicate effectively in a time-sensitive and noisy operations environment
- operate assigned equipment safely according to federal regulations
- maintain alertness and safety in all operations
