Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year or more of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
- Must be 21 years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past three years
- Willingness to work Sunday through Thursday night shift
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure new one
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move products ranging from 60 to 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year or more of commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement
- Must be 21 years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for past three years
- Ability to work a third shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday nights
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment such as two-wheeler and lift gate to move product cases/freight between 60 and 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies
- Ensure all required route paperwork accompanies tractor trailer load and is available upon dispatch
- Drive and deliver trailers according to predetermined route schedule
- Perform hook and unhook procedures per safety guidelines
- Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas
- Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailer and complete necessary paperwork
- Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers as required
- Complete daily hours of service record and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean
- Perform other related duties as assigned
