Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license Class D or above
- Clean driving record
- Ability to obtain or possess DOT medical card
- 3+ years of driving experience preferably with straight/box trucks
- Physical ability to handle 100+ lb containers
- Availability to work 4/10 weekday schedule starting at 7 AM
- Ability to perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ability to use handheld devices to manage route details
- Willingness to comply with customer immunization and credentialing requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and reporting purposes
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving straight/box trucks and route management
- Current Class D or higher driver’s license with excellent driving record
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently
- Ability to obtain or possess valid DOT medical card
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to operate a 26-foot box truck safely
- Knowledge of local and federal driving regulations
Job Duties
- Performs onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information
- Performs pre/post-trip checks and driver check-in on assigned truck
- Reports maintenance issues to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up
- Operates company equipment safely to minimize injury and damage
- Complies with local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service
- Completes and maintains DOT logs when applicable
- Maintains high level of security when emptying consoles and collection totes
- Services accounts using a hand-held device ensuring console/container accuracy
- Manages assigned routes ensuring timely and accurate collection of confidential materials
- Handles customer inquiries and problems promptly
- Performs other assigned duties
