Job Requirements

  • Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Ability to stand or walk for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • Ability to perform basic computer functions
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products without allergic consequences
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents
  • Ability to climb ladders to retrieve items from overhead storage
  • Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to work assigned schedules and comply with attendance policies
  • Ability to engage and lead associates to achieve department goals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven leadership and management experience in food service or retail environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Proficient in basic computer functions and relevant technology
  • Ability to manage inventory and department financials
  • Experience with HACCP and food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment operation guidelines

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise all Food Service Department functions and associates
  • Enforce safety and compliance with HAACP and food handling procedures
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Communicate and enforce department and company safety policies
  • Lead associate hiring, training, development, and performance feedback
  • Ensure proper product stocking, labeling, rotation, and presentation
  • Manage department financials to meet sales, profit, and operational goals
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and safe operation
  • Maintain accurate records, temperature logs, and production sheets
  • Promote positive customer experiences and associate engagement
  • Implement efficient department operations and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with food preparation, catering, and special orders
  • Complete applicable training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
