Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for 95-100 percent of shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Food Handler Certification may be required based on local regulations
  • Open availability to work any shifts as needed
  • Willingness to perform duties while clocked in
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in quick service restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction and train staff
  • Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills
  • General knowledge of computers and Point of Sale systems
  • Basic business math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to assess and evaluate workplace safety hazards
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance

Job Duties

  • Supports Restaurant General Manager in supervising team that delivers effective results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
  • Running shifts and supporting the General Manager in managing execution of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems
  • Ensures objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices during shifts
  • Supports General Manager in creating and maintaining an employer of choice environment
  • Provides leadership, direction, training and development to the restaurant team
  • Supervises and directs the workforce
  • Supports staffing decisions including recommending interviews and administering disciplinary action
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests
  • Uses Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments
  • Adheres to food handling, safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
