Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 95-100 percent of shift
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food Handler Certification may be required based on local regulations
- Open availability to work any shifts as needed
- Willingness to perform duties while clocked in
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years experience in quick service restaurant environment
- Demonstrated ability to ensure guest satisfaction and train staff
- Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills
- General knowledge of computers and Point of Sale systems
- Basic business math skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate workplace safety hazards
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
Job Duties
- Supports Restaurant General Manager in supervising team that delivers effective results in quality, guest service, food cost, labor cost, safety, security, cleanliness and product preparation
- Running shifts and supporting the General Manager in managing execution of all company policies, procedures, programs and systems
- Ensures objectives are reached in all areas while following company guidelines
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices during shifts
- Supports General Manager in creating and maintaining an employer of choice environment
- Provides leadership, direction, training and development to the restaurant team
- Supervises and directs the workforce
- Supports staffing decisions including recommending interviews and administering disciplinary action
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests
- Uses Point of Sale system to record orders and process payments
- Adheres to food handling, safety and sanitation standards
- Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards
