Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in supervising food service staff
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Capability to perform physical tasks related to food preparation and restaurant operations
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point of sale systems

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and deposits

Job Duties

  • Assist General Manager and Assistant Manager to supervise and coordinate activities of workers preparing and serving food
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service by managing daily restaurant operations
  • Direct employees through daily routines and interact with customers to ensure satisfactory experience
  • Manage team leaders and team members on team stations, products, processes, and policies
  • Act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through proper employee training and policy adherence
  • Open restaurant, set up cash drawers, initiate computer runs
  • Make final deposit of previous nights' receipts
  • Turn on fryers, broilers and breakfast grills
  • Prepare food and serve customers at counter and drive-thru window
  • Prepare garnish for lunch sandwiches, cut lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions
  • Begin cleaning and preparation of produce for salads
  • Receive and store incoming shipments of food
  • Rotate stock in freezer/cooler
  • Perform minor repairs
  • Operate cash register
  • Close restaurant, clean kitchen equipment and dining room, prepare final deposit and closing paperwork
