Job Requirements
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Kitchen Lead role including team member duties
- Minimum 1 year experience in shift leader or supervisor role
- Experience in fast-paced work environments
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks maintaining operational standards
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language of the work location
- Must be able to work at least 30 hours per week
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to foster team culture
- Experience in mentoring and coaching employees
- Highly organized and reliable multitasker
- Experience in scheduling and performance oversight
- Food Handler or ServSafe certification preferred
- Experience with fast-paced environments such as restaurants, retail, or hospitality
Job Duties
- Step into any station as needed, especially during peak hours, callouts, or understaffed shifts
- Handle customer concerns at first level, assisting with allergies and order accuracy to prevent cross-contamination
- Oversee multiple tasks simultaneously, including line operations, technology tools, and guest interactions
- Use clear verbal communication to delegate tasks, resolve issues in real time, and align team and customer needs
- Monitor food quality, order accuracy, safety protocols, and maintain digital reports
- Enforce food safety procedures and allergen awareness to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Stay calm and professional during high-pressure or high-volume situations
- Perform kitchen lead duties including all team member functions
