Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of relevant leadership or restaurant experience
- certification in food safety and sanitation
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- strong organizational and planning skills
- physical ability to lift pull and push up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- One year of Sizzler experience or one year of leadership experience
- successfully completed the Shift Leader training program
- completed ServSafe training
- certified in all areas of the restaurant
- ability to read and interpret financial and written information
- ability to add subtract multiply divide and dispense change correctly
- ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions
Job Duties
- Capable of leading and directing others
- follows service standards and sequence of service as outlined in the figure 8
- can be assigned to other and or multiple departments besides your primary job code
- may be directed to work on special projects or assist with other work necessary or important to company operations
- sizzler may alter or change job duties reassign or transfer job responsibilities or assign additional responsibilities
- manages difficult or emotional guest situations
- responds promptly to guest needs
- speaks clearly and persuasively
- balances team and individual responsibilities
- prioritizes and plans work activities
