Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of relevant leadership or restaurant experience
  • certification in food safety and sanitation
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • strong organizational and planning skills
  • physical ability to lift pull and push up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • One year of Sizzler experience or one year of leadership experience
  • successfully completed the Shift Leader training program
  • completed ServSafe training
  • certified in all areas of the restaurant
  • ability to read and interpret financial and written information
  • ability to add subtract multiply divide and dispense change correctly
  • ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions

Job Duties

  • Capable of leading and directing others
  • follows service standards and sequence of service as outlined in the figure 8
  • can be assigned to other and or multiple departments besides your primary job code
  • may be directed to work on special projects or assist with other work necessary or important to company operations
  • sizzler may alter or change job duties reassign or transfer job responsibilities or assign additional responsibilities
  • manages difficult or emotional guest situations
  • responds promptly to guest needs
  • speaks clearly and persuasively
  • balances team and individual responsibilities
  • prioritizes and plans work activities
