Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as business dictates
  • physical stamina to work 40-50 hours per week
  • ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, possess close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to perform occasional physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • ability to complete essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • ability to use basic math including addition, subtraction, and understand basic fractions
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • leadership and team management skills
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Supervise a staff of approximately 3 to 15 employees
  • delegate responsibilities for ordering, receiving, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies to minimize waste and theft
  • assist in the supervision of preparation, sales, and service of food
  • supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty
  • assist team members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency
  • complete daily food preparation including meat and vegetable slicing, portioning, and rotating products
  • assist in daily and weekly paperwork
  • assist in preventive maintenance and upkeep on store's equipment and supplies
  • perform other related duties as required
