Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in valet or automotive service preferred
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner, free of debris and fluid leaks
  • Regularly check to ensure all vehicles in parking lot are locked and secure
  • Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the Service Department
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when bill is paid or directed by cashier
  • Inspect vehicle and record any damage on the repair order when vehicle is taken in for service
  • Deliver keys and repair order hard copies to appropriate Group Leaders workstation after parking vehicle
  • Inspect each vehicle for lot damage incurred during service and report to management immediately
  • Keep service drive traffic flowing by parking vehicles in designated areas after service write-up and damage inspection
  • Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and ID tags in all vehicles taken in for service
  • Remove seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats and ID tags prior to returning vehicle to customer
  • Wash all vehicles in for service before delivery to client
  • Inspect all vehicles for grease or other stains and clean promptly using materials specified by management
  • Keep waste cans emptied and haul bulky waste items to dumpster on scheduled days and as needed
  • Shuttle clients to and from dealership as needed
  • Immediately report to Management any situation or condition jeopardizing safety or integrity of dealership, employees or customers
  • Adhere to work schedule and be productively engaged at work station by scheduled time
  • Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety and personal protection equipment
  • Adhere to established dress code policy
  • Safeguard customer and Dealer information per policy
  • Exemplify organizational culture and hold others accountable
  • Accomplish all assigned or requested tasks
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
