Job Requirements

  • must be 21 years or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • minimum 1 year bartending experience in high-volume bar or nightclub setting
  • knowledgeable mixologist
  • knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and safe alcohol handling practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • familiarity with POS systems and bar inventory software
  • ability to comply with local liquor laws
  • gaming license required, process facilitated by the company
  • certified in sanitation and ServSafe

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provides prompt, efficient, and friendly quality service and preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for cocktail servers and internal service staff
  • communicates to supervisor any difficulties and or other relevant information
  • promotes drink specials and possible upselling to the cocktail servers
  • collaborate with bar backs to ensure efficient service flow
  • follows standard recipes, stock control procedures, and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and minimize waste
  • complies with legal provisions of local liquor codes
  • monitors factors which interfere with the total experience of the guest
  • uses refrigeration system correctly
  • effectively operates the post-mix syrups bulk dispensing system
  • operates the beer reticulation system
  • monitors and reports any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
  • complies with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations
  • prepares each drink that has a provided ticket, confirming proof of payment
  • assists with end-of-shift cleaning and closing procedures
  • complies with ABC training
  • participates in developing specials
  • trains interested beverage servers for bartending positions
  • attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • promotes positive public and employee relations
  • presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • maintains cleanliness and organization of the Service Bar area, including glassware, tools, equipment, and supplies, in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • performs other duties as assigned
