Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- a minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience preferred
- clean driving record with no at-fault accidents for at least 1 year
- ability to understand and follow DOT regulations
- physical ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally more
- must be at least 21 years old
- pass background check and drug screening
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification while operating company vehicles
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work full time
- effective communication skills
- ability to operate material handling equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of experience with box truck and/or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record
- current driver’s license relevant to vehicles operated
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certificate
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally more than 50lbs
- ability to complete driver vehicle inspection reports
- knowledge and adherence to federal, state, and local laws
- pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on people focused values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
- operate various material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
