Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of delivery driving experience
- Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past year
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type
- Ability to pass DOT certification and maintain compliance
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to follow federal, state, and local transportation laws
- Willingness to work full-time and adhere to company policies
Job Qualifications
- Safety first mentality
- One or more years of box truck or delivery experience preferred
- At least one year of no at-fault accidents
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Valid driver’s license relevant to vehicle class
- Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Transportation certification
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally more
- Capable of completing driver vehicle inspection reports
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws
- Able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within company policies
- Pick, stage, and load trucks as requested
- Understand and adhere to Department of Transportation regulations including hours of service requirements
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- Adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires and equipment to customers
- Securely handle cash on delivery transactions as required by company policy
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure vehicle and work area
- Provide exceptional customer service based on company values
- Wear clean and laundered uniform provided by the company
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
