Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- minimum age of 21 years
- 1+ years of delivery or box truck driving experience
- clean motor vehicle record
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- ability to follow safety guidelines and DOT regulations
- clear background check
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
Job Qualifications
- Safety first mentality
- 1+ years of experience in box truck and/or delivery driving preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- valid driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating company vehicles
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively with bending and twisting and occasional lifting of heavier weights
- ability to complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
- knowledge of federal, state, and local laws relevant to commercial driving
- able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within company policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle cash on delivery (COD) when applicable as per company policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on company People Focused Values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by the company
- operate various material handling equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
