Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • minimum age of 21 years
  • 1+ years of delivery or box truck driving experience
  • clean motor vehicle record
  • ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • ability to follow safety guidelines and DOT regulations
  • clear background check
  • successful completion of pre-employment drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • Safety first mentality
  • 1+ years of experience in box truck and/or delivery driving preferred
  • 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
  • clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • valid driver’s license relevant to the types/classes of vehicles driven
  • ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate while operating company vehicles
  • must be 21 years or older
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively with bending and twisting and occasional lifting of heavier weights
  • ability to complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local laws relevant to commercial driving
  • able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

Job Duties

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within company policies
  • pick, stage and load trucks as requested
  • understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
  • maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
  • adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
  • securely handle cash on delivery (COD) when applicable as per company policy
  • maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
  • maintain exceptional customer service based on company People Focused Values
  • come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by the company
  • operate various material handling equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
  • perform other duties as requested or needed
