Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- minimum 1 year delivery or driving experience preferred
- must be at least 21 years old
- clean driving record with no at-fault accidents for 1+ years
- ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- ability to obtain and maintain DOT certification
- pass background check
- pass pre-employment drug screen
- ability to work full-time
- strong commitment to safety
- good communication skills
- ability to operate material handling equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of box truck or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean MVR
- current driver's license relevant to vehicle class driven
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Certificate
- minimum age 21 years
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively with bending and twisting and occasionally more than 50lbs
- ability to complete Driver Vehicle Inspection reports as required
- knowledge of and compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
- ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on our People Focused Values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform that is provided by NTW
- operate various MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
