Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver’s license
- clean motor vehicle record
- minimum 21 years of age
- ability to obtain DOT certification
- ability to pass pre-employment background check
- ability to pass drug screening
- physical ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively and occasionally more
- willingness to work full-time
- strong safety orientation
Job Qualifications
- Safety first mentality
- 1+ years of experience, box truck experience and/or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record
- maintain a current driver’s license relevant to vehicle types/classes driven during company business
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate while operating a company vehicle
- must be 21 years or older
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively while bending and twisting and occasionally more than 50lbs
- complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required by company policy and DOT regulations
- abide by all federal, state, and local laws
- ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires and equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) transactions when applicable
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on company values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by the company
- operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
