Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year of serving or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to assist with scheduling and learn POS system thoroughly
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of guests
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work standing for long periods
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing 20 to 25 pounds
- FOHM qualifications including server experience and willingness to assist with scheduling and liquor orders
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make recommendations to guests
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly
- Perform side work as required by service station assignment
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor guests’ dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- Prepare final bills and process payments
- Assist fellow servers and help with bussing and cleaning tables
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
