Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of serving or restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to assist with scheduling and learn POS system thoroughly

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of guests
  • Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
  • Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work standing for long periods
  • Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing 20 to 25 pounds
  • FOHM qualifications including server experience and willingness to assist with scheduling and liquor orders

Job Duties

  • Welcome and greet guests
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes
  • Make recommendations to guests
  • Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
  • Take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly
  • Perform side work as required by service station assignment
  • Maintain clean service areas
  • Monitor guests’ dining experience and ensure satisfaction
  • Prepare final bills and process payments
  • Assist fellow servers and help with bussing and cleaning tables
  • Thank guests and invite them to return
  • Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
