Job Requirements

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • flexible schedule with availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
  • must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time unless otherwise directed by your immediate manager
  • must clock in or out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule
  • must provide sufficient notice as directed by supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • able to stand for sustained periods
  • able to walk long distances or move from one work site to another
  • able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers
  • able to lift and carry supplies
  • able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and give a clear and correct description of food and beverage options
  • deliver hot to order items from kitchen to tables
  • input orders into computer and secure accurate payment
  • prepare coffee as well as other specialized drinks
  • clear, clean, and reset tables for dining as needed
  • observe diners and respond to requests
  • complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work allowable by labor rules
  • knowledge and familiarity of current food and beverage offerings
  • escort guests to tables as needed
  • ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures
  • assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and surrounding areas
  • demonstrate knowledge of hours and available amenities of the hotel
