Job Requirements
- Must provide a minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or the equivalent
- Must be willing and able to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Be courteous, pleasant and good natured
- Respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Accept constructive criticism
- Get along with co-workers
- Provide a clean, well manicured persona that reflects the established image of the restaurant
- Stand and walk for an entire shift
- Safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surface
- Transport food to service a party of 4 in a single trip
- Transport food and beverage items from source to any guest table continually throughout a shift
- Safely move about in all areas of the restaurant
- Work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu items and daily specials
- Familiarity with wine list and liquor beverages
- Understanding of restaurant accounting procedures
- Ability to learn restaurant layout including table and station numbers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience and courtesy in guest interactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Take food and beverage orders from guests
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Provide excellent customer service ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain clean and organized service areas
- Respond patiently and courteously to difficult guest situations
- Assist with special events and catering as needed
- Collaborate with co-workers to ensure smooth restaurant operations
