- ability to stand for long periods

- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- basic math and accounting skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred

- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation

- familiarity with cash registers and payment processing systems

Job Duties
- Prepare tables for meals including the complete set up of linens silverware and glassware
- perform light food preparation duties including bread salad preparation appetizers and dessert presentation
- greet guests professionally and educate about the food and beverage menus preparation methods ingredients and cooking techniques
- inform customers of daily specials
- check food and beverages for quality and presentation before serving
- serve food and beverage to guests
- prepare and serve specialty dishes tableside as required
- check identification for age verification for alcoholic beverages
- provide wine recommendations and serve wine using appropriate techniques
- receive guest payments and process transactions
- clear and clean tables promptly following sanitation standards
- complete side duties including polishing silverware restaurant set up and filling condiments
