Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- Commitment to teamwork and service principles
- Availability to pass pre-employment screenings including drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- May require COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations if mandated
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- Comply with occupational health and safety regulations and practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout
- Perform additional dining services duties including washing and sanitizing dishes, sweeping work areas, preparing and serving light meals, and assisting with food preparation and plating
- Participate actively as a member of a team
- Demonstrate the Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- Commit to serving residents and guests through Principles of Service
- Contribute to overall engagement programs
- Attend regular meetings such as Town Hall and Department Team meetings
- Maintain compliance with all required training
- Perform other assigned duties.
