Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or serving experience is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 10 lbs
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be at least 18 years old

- Verbal and language skills to communicate with guests
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Basic math skills
- Ability to operate point-of-sale system
- Ability to handle money
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver plates and supplies up to 10 lbs
- Availability to fill in as needed to assist restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them
- Inform guests of specials and feature items
- Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders, enter orders in point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly
- Run food orders from the pick-up window regardless of which server placed the order
- Perform side work at start and end of shift
- Maintain clean service areas
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience
- Ensure guests are satisfied with food and service
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests
- Pre-bus tables frequently
- Prepare bill and present check at appropriate point
- Clean and reset tables promptly
- Clean chairs, booths and surrounding carpet
- Assist fellow servers as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
